RC Hobby Pros is the DBA (Doing Business As) name of RCHT Inc., a Texas corporation owned and operated by Matt Keller. We're a brick-and-mortar radio-controlled hobby shop located at 555 S Mason Rd, Katy, TX 77450, serving the greater Houston RC community both in-store and online at rchobbypros.com.

Authorized Dealer

RC Hobby Pros is an authorized dealer purchasing inventory directly through licensed distributor accounts with Horizon Hobby, HRP Distributing, and AMain Distributing. All products are new, manufacturer-warranted items sourced through official dealer channels. We do not source from gray-market or unauthorized channels.

Who We Are

Matt Keller has been in the RC industry for over 30 years. After decades of helping fellow hobbyists, racers, basher families, and beginners find the right gear, he opened RC Hobby Pros in April 2026. The shop carries the brands you actually want — Arrma, Axial, Spektrum, Team Associated, Losi, Pro Boat, Blade, and many more — and our staff has the hands-on experience to actually help you set up, tune, and run your vehicles.

What We Do

• Retail sales — RC cars, trucks, drones, planes, boats, helicopters, plus all the parts, batteries, electronics, and tools to keep them running.
• In-store repairs — Bring it in, we'll diagnose. ESC, motor, servo, driveline, electronics. Shop rate $45/hr. Free estimates.
• Custom builds — Painted bodies, chassis tuning, performance setups.
• Special orders — If we don't have it, we'll get it. Most special orders ship in 2–5 business days.
• Trade-ins — Used vehicles and drones accepted for store credit (40–60% of resale value depending on condition).
• Beginner consultations — Free 30-minute setup walkthrough with any RTR purchase over $80.
• Battery service — On-site LiPo fast-charge and storage in fire-safe cabinets.
